The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has warned prospective corps members across the country to disregard the rumour that it will begin Batch ‘A’ (Stream II) Orientation Course on 24 June, 2017.
In a statement issued by the commission’s Director of Public Relations, Bose Aderibigbe, NYSC said that the date for the stream II orientation has yet to be agreed upon.
”The attention of the NYSC Management has been drawn to an online statement, which claims that the 2017 Batch ‘A’ (Stream II) Orientation Course has been scheduled to commence on 24th June, 2017.
”We wish to state that the information is false and, to say the least, misleading.
”Management assures Prospective Corps Members and other stakeholders that the date of commencement of the 2017 Batch ‘A’ (Stream II) Orientation Course will be made public through our official channels in due course,” the commission’s director stated.
