Governor Mohammed Abubakar of Bauchi state on Thursday sacked all but one member of the state’s executive council.
The sole survivor of the purge is the Special Adviser on Security, Brig-Gen Ladan Yusuf.
The dissolution of the cabinet was disclosed in a statement issued by the governor’s press secretary, Malam Abubakar A–Sadique.
No reason has as yet being given for the decision though a new Secretary to the State Government has being appointed. The post is now being held by Alhaji Mohammed Nadala Umar.
