Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lieutenant General Tukur Yusuf Buratai has been awarded the Kwame Nkrumah Leadership Award.
The award was presented by the All African Students Union (AASU) in recognition Buratai’s exemplary leadership and commitment to duty and the fight against insurgency in the North East.
Accepting the award, General Buratai said he was deeply humbled to be associated with the name and virtues of the highly revered African leader, the late Dr. Kwameh Nkrumah.
