By Farouk Mohammed

Businessman Kensington Adebutu has rewarded the Super Eagles with N50 million after they qualified for the 2018 Fifa World Cup.

Adebutu is the owner of the multi-million Naira betting business – Premier Lotto (Baba Ijebu).

Alex Iwobi scored the only goal as Nigeria beat Zambia in a Match Day 5 duel of the African qualification race on Saturday.

According to the spokesman of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Ademola Olajire, Adebutu gave the team the reward after the game.

In addition, Olajire quoted the business tycoon to have lauded the team for their professionalism and dedication during the qualifiers.

Also, he urged the team not to rest on their oars but work harder and be better ambassadors of the country in Russia.

Nigeria, with 13 points from five games, took the sole ticket from Group B in the African qualification zone with a game to spare.
