By Muhammad A. Aliyu

Cane Integrated Investment Limited, a prominent investment and financial advisory firm, has forged a partnership with the NYSC Lagos State Chapter, demonstrating its commitment to corporate social responsibility.

The firm aims to equip youth corps members with investment planning and financial advisory services, enabling them to make prudent decisions and attain empowerment.

Led by Mr. Adeshina Adedapo and Mrs. Adenike Awoniyi, the Cane Integrated Investment Limited team expressed their dedication to empowering corps members for the labor market.

They emphasized the significance of providing financial and investment literacy, as well as economic empowerment opportunities.

During the visit, Mrs. Yetunde Abolarinwa, the National Youth Service Corps Coordinator for Lagos State, warmly welcomed the partnership.

She highlighted the pressing need to address the woefully low levels of financial literacy among young individuals and introduce them to appropriate and regulated financial options. By doing so, the program intends to empower youths to make informed financial planning decisions.

Mrs. Abolarinwa further stated, “The program will assist youth with necessary information to reduce unemployment and restlessness by giving young entrepreneurs access to investment and financial literacy so they may better themselves.”

Expressing gratitude to Cane Integrated Investment Limited for creating a platform that equips young people with essential life skills, the NYSC state coordinator underscored the original purpose of the NYSC program, which is to provide graduates with a transformative orientation experience each year.

She also acknowledged the pivotal role played by young individuals in Nigeria’s economy, while recognizing the accomplishments and patriotism demonstrated by corps members.
