Lagos, Nigeria – Nigerian social media comedian Carter Efe defeated Nigerian street artist Habeeb ‘Portable’ Badmus by unanimous decision in a celebrity boxing match on Friday, May 1, 2026.
Okay News reports that the three judges scored the bout 27-30 in favor of Efe at the Chaos in the Ring 4 event held at the Balmoral Hall inside the Federal Palace Hotel in Victoria Island.
Badmus entered the match seeking a third celebrity boxing title after previously defeating Nigerian opponents Charles Okocha and Speed Darlington. The bout marked the first defeat in celebrity boxing for Badmus.
Badmus said, “I will use you to collect my third belt. Charles Okocha was bigger than you, Speed Darlington was bigger than you, and I beat them. I will beat you now,” before the match.
Efe responded before the fight and said, “One punch and you fall.”
Badmus utilized an aggressive strategy with wild punches and clinching across the three rounds. Efe absorbed the pressure and responded with uppercuts, body punches, and combinations to secure the victory before the final bell.
