By Promise Amadi
Manchester United defender, Chris Smalling has insists the Manchester United dressing room is still united, despite goalless draw against Valencia in the Champions League.

United’s season has been plagued by off-field issues so far, with manager, Jose Mourinho understood to have fallen out with midfifelder, Paul Pogba while reports have also suggested that the likes of striker, Alexis Sanchez and defender, Antonio Valencia are unhappy with the 55-year-old Portuguese gaffer.

In an interview with BT Sport, Smalling said:

“We grew in the second half, you can tell we’re disappointed we didn’t get the goal we deserved in the second half,”

“You’re just after anything, We couldn’t get the goal and we’re disappointed. We have to stand tall. We’re going through a tough patch and we’re the only ones who can turn it around.

“The dressing room is united. We’re sticking together to make sure we turn it around. We’re talented players and it is that confidence, mentally it is tough, we know how important the home games are but we turn our heads to Saturday now.”
