COVID-19: Bauchi deputy gov recovers 9 days after testing positive

The deputy governor of Bauchi state, Baba Tela has tested negative for COVID-19.

Okay.ng recalls that nine days ago (June 2) Tela was confirmed to have been tested positive for the virus.

The executive chairman, Bauchi state primary health care development agency (BASPHCDA), Rilwanu Mohammed made this disclosure on Wednesday.

Mohammed said: “His Excellency, the deputy governor of Bauchi state, nine days ago was in isolation because he was infected.

“However, we thank God that after another test, he is now negative and he has been discharged.”
