A serious flood that hit Tbilisi, Georgia capital (a country at the intersection of Europe and Asia) today, June 14, has led wild animals – lions, tigers, bear, jaguars, wolves among others out of their enclosure.

The flood, which occurred after a river burst its banks following hours of torrential rain, hit the zoo, leaving eight people and several animals dead.
Reports say the animals which are still alive are currently roaming the streets. Officials say some have been captured while some of the more dangerous ones are being shot dead by security forces.
Thousands of people in the city are currently stranded – no water and electricity. See more pix after the cut
