DEMOCRACY DAY: Rate President Buhari’s Performance In The Last 1 Year

The Inauguration of Muhammadu Buhari as the President Of The Federal Republic Of Nigeria took place on Friday, 29th Of May 2015 which marked the beginning of his first term as President following the 2015 general election.

We all know that Muhammadu Buhari won the Presidential election under the All Progressive Congress (APC) party with more than 2.6 million votes.

We gave you a Live report of the official swearing-in ceremony which took place at Eagle Square in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory in which Chief Justice Mahmud Mohammed administered the oath of office taken by President elect, Buhari.

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo was sworn in at 10:41 AM while President Muhammadu Buhari was sworn in at 10:51 AM after which he delivered his inaugural speech.

President Muhammadu Buhari made many promises while delivering his inaugural speech; promises like — Resolving Boko Haram Crisis, Bringing back the Chibok Girls, 24/7 access to electricty and many more.

CHIBOK GIRLS — “…but we can not claim to have defeated Boko Haram without rescuing the Chibok girls and all other innocent persons held hostage by the insurgents.This government will do all it can to rescue them alive.”
