Heavyweight Champion Anthony Joshua secured a resounding victory over Cameroonian opponent Francis Ngannou in a thrilling heavyweight bout held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Joshua delivered a devastating second-round finish, effectively shattering any hopes of an upset and solidifying his path towards claiming a third world championship title on Friday.

Following the intense match, a heartwarming moment between Joshua and Ngannou unfolded, captured in a video shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter). In the clip, Joshua can be seen offering words of encouragement and advice to Ngannou, whom he regards as an inspiration.

“You are an inspiration. Don’t leave boxing again,” Joshua implored Ngannou, to which the Cameroonian boxer replied affirmatively, “No, I will not.” Undeterred, Joshua continued to emphasize his point, urging Ngannou, “Don’t leave boxing. Do it, don’t leave boxing.”

Taking hold of the microphone in the ring, Joshua further conveyed his sentiments, expressing his commitment to always give his best in every fight. “I’m just gonna do my best every time and go home. Nothing changes for me,” he declared.
