DSS Operatives Storm Home of Former DG ‘Kayode Areh’

Operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) today stormed the Ikoyi, Lagos, home of Kayode Areh, retired colonel and former director-general of the secret police.

The operatives stormed the residence in two buses around 3pm on Wednesday, breaking down the doors and throwing out his belongings. No legal document was produced to back their actions.

Areh was DG from 1999 to 2007.
