Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has intercepted bags filled with money owned by governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Benue State, Emmanuel Jime on election day.

Okay Nigeria gathered that the money bag intercepted by the anti-graft commission was for alleged vote-buying.

EFCC revealed that the incident occurred around a polling unit in North Bank area of Makurdi, the state capital.

However, thugs loyal to the APC candidate attached vehicles belonging to EFCC to stop the interception.
