Muhammadu Sanusi II, the Emir of Kano, on Tuesday released details of his April 2017 salary on his verified Instagram account.


 

”Pay slip… Since colonial times, the Emir of Kano is the highest paid public office holder in Nigeria. Period,” he captioned the image.

The Emir, according to the payslip, earned a gross income of N1,312,500 with a PAYE deduction of N62,625.

Sanusi Lamido net income for April amounted to N1,246,875.
