Raheem Sterling orchestrated a remarkable comeback for Chelsea, playing a pivotal role in all four goals as they overcame Burnley in style, securing their third consecutive victory.

Despite the eventual emphatic scoreline, the Blues had a shaky start as Burnley took an early lead on the counter, with Wilson Odobert capitalizing on too much space to slot one past Chelsea’s goalkeeper.

However, Chelsea equalized by half-time, largely thanks to Raheem Sterling. It was Clarets defender Ameen Al Dakhil who inadvertently deflected Sterling’s dangerous cross into his own net.

The second half belonged entirely to Chelsea. Within five minutes, Sterling was brought down in the box by Vitinho, resulting in a penalty that Cole Palmer calmly converted for his first Premier League goal.

Sterling continued to shine, scoring a well-deserved goal after dispatching Conor Gallagher’s precise pass. Substitute Nicolas Jackson added to Chelsea’s dominance with a skillful finish, sealing their fourth goal of the day at Turf Moor.

Chelsea had identified a vulnerability early on, exploiting Burnley’s high defensive line with long balls over the top, notably through Armando Broja and Sterling.

Despite initial difficulties, Chelsea regained control and possession as the first half progressed. They struggled to create clear-cut chances but showed glimpses of danger, with Sterling coming close with a curling shot.

Burnley, however, capitalized on the counter and regained the lead through Odobert after Vitinho’s break down the right.

Chelsea’s recovery continued, and just before half-time, Sterling’s dynamic play led to an own goal by Al Dakhil, leveling the score.

Sterling remained a constant threat and played a crucial role in Chelsea’s second-half dominance. He earned a penalty, expertly converted by Palmer, and later scored a goal of his own.

Burnley had no answer to Sterling’s brilliance, and Chelsea sealed the victory with Jackson’s goal.

This win marked Chelsea’s first back-to-back Premier League victories of the season, elevating them into the top half of the table in 10th place with 11 points, ahead of Fulham and Crystal Palace on goal difference. The momentum gained over the past week bodes well for Chelsea as they head into the international break.
