Everton have signed young German forward Anton Donkor on loan from Wolfsburg for the rest of the season.

Aston Villa were thought to be leading the race for the teenager, and Donkor himself told reporters that his agent had already held discussions with he Midlands club regarding a potential move to Villa Park.
“Yes, my agent has had contact with Aston Villa. In order to further develop myself, a loan to England would surely be a good thing.”
