Nigeria’s former Minister of Transport, Chief Ebenezer Babatope has stated that the ministerial appointment of former Lagos state governor, Babatunde Fashola as Minister of Power, Works and Housing is ridiculous.
“To me Fashola’s appointment is ridiculous. Power, Works and Housing are three powerful Ministries rolled into one” he said according to Daily Independent.
“Has he become a superhuman Nigerian to be given Ministries of Power, Housing and Works? I am waiting and I want to see how this will work. These are three powerful ministries rolled into one” he said.
Babatope, a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)’s Board of Trustees said he will wait and see how the new developments will work out in the near future.
