Former minister of aviation under the former President Olusegun Obasanjo’s tenure has said the former president’s criticisms of the President Muhammadu Buhari led administration is courageous and timely.
Obasanjo who had before now showed extreme support for the Buhari administration surprised many political pundits who saw his criticisms of the incumbent as ‘an unexpected turn around’.
Fani-Kayode, tweeting from his handle @realFFK on Thursday, stated that his former principal showed great courage by attacking the Buhari administration.
“Thankfully, OBJ has now seen the light and joined the fray. His counsel to the Buhari administration is timely. He has shown immense courage,” he tweeted.
Recall that Obasanjo had while delivering a keynote speech at the First Akintola Williams Annual Lecture, slammed the Buhari government for repeatedly lumping his administration and the two others after it together for purportedly failing the country.
