FG Declares October 1 As Public Holiday to Celebrate Nigeria’s 58th Independence Anniversary

The Federal Government (FG) has declared October 1 which is Monday, as public holiday to celebrate Nigeria’s 58th Independence Anniversary.

This was revealed in a statement made available to okaynews.com by Minister of Interior, resigned Lt.- Gen. Abdulrahman Dambazau were he asked Nigerians to support President Muhammadu Buhari’s endeavors at keeping up and reinforcing the solidarity and tranquility of the nation.

He also emphasised government’s commitment to advancing national solidarity, financial development, social and political improvement in light of majority rule standards.

As indicated by Dambazau, in the previous 58 years, Nigeria had gained a considerable measure of ground in framework improvement and worldwide relations.
