The Super Eagles of Nigeria has been ranked 4th “Best team in Africa” in the FIFA end-of-year ranking.

Nigeria also attained the 44th in the world with more than a thousand accumulated points.

The Terrenga Lions of Senegal topped the continent rank, followed by Tunisia in 2nd, Morocco come in 3rd and DR Congo in 5th place.

The remaining team to complete the top 10 in Africa are: Ghana, Cameroon, Egypt, Burkina-Faso and Mali.

South Africa was ranked at 72nd in the world.
