Yusuf Tuggar, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, has formally notified the Head of Service of the Federation, Folasade Yemi-Esan, of allegations of sexual harassment against the Permanent Secretary of the ministry, Ibrahim Lamuwa.
A female employee, Simisola Fajemirokun Ajayi, had complained of Lamuwa’s alleged sexual advances, prompting Tuggar’s letter to Yemi-Esan.
The minister stressed the seriousness of the allegation and urged prompt and thorough action. An investigation is expected to follow.
