Ganduje, Wife, Six Others to Face Trial for Alleged Bribery and Fraud

The Kano State High Court has ordered Abdullahi Ganduje, his wife Hafsat, and six others to appear in court on Thursday to face charges related to alleged bribery, diversion, and misappropriation of funds amounting to billions of naira.

The court granted an application for substituted service, allowing the state to serve the respondents through newspaper advertisements. Justice Amina Adamu adjourned the case until July 11, 2024, for hearing, ordering all parties to present their fiat to the court.

Ganduje, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), and the other respondents are accused of involvement in a bribery and fraud scheme. The trial is expected to commence at 10 am on Thursday at the Kano State High Court.
