President Muhammadu Buhari has reacted to a gas pipeline explosion in Oyibo local Government Area of Rivers state.
Okay.ng gathered that several casualties were recorded in the incident that occurred in Kom Kom community of the local government.
According to reports, workers were at the site fixing a faulty section of the pipeline which result to the explosion.
Garba Shehu, Buhari’s spokesman, in a short statement said the president is extremely pained by the losses of life in the incident and expressed his condolences to the families of the victims and to the government and people of Rivers State.
