Rivers State governor on Friday relieved his Senior Special Assistant on Protocol, Sir Joe Akpa, of his appointment.
This is contained in a statement by Mr Simeon Nwakaudu, Special Assistant to the governor on Electronic Media, in Port Harcourt.
The statement did not give any reason for the action.
It said that the governor wished Akpa well in his future endeavours.
