Greatest Boxer Ever Muhammad Ali Is Dead

The greatest boxer that ever lived, Muhammed Ali, 74, died on Friday, June 3, evening in Phoenix, Arizona, United States of America, surrounded by his family, a day after being rushed to hospital. The legend, who had suffered from Parkinson’s disease for 32 years, had difficulty breathing and had to be put on life support machine.

Doctors had warned his family that he had little chance of survival, that his time was up – and they began preparing for his funeral.

The breathing problem was as a result of complications from his Parkinson ailment which ravaged the adored boxer before then known for his oratory skill and quick wit. It left him with speech and movement difficulties. Many times he had to be supported and you could hardly hear him.

At his death bed was his wife, Lonnie, and daughters.

Tributes have been raining on the three time heavy weight world champion who also won an Olympic gold.
