How Police Rescued Senator Iyabo Anisulowo From Kidnappers

Ogun State Police have rescued  the former Minister of State for Education,  Senator Iyabo Anisulowo, who was abducted by armed men seven days after she was kidnapped at Sawonjo in Yewa North Llocal Government Area.

Anisulowo was found at about 7p.m. Tuesday,  at Gbegbelawo near Olorunda in Imala Local Government Area.

The Police Public Relations Officer in the state,  Muyiwa Adejobi, who disclosed this to newsmen,  said two persons have been arrested in connection with the abduction.

According to Adejobi, one of the suspects, who was  a kingpin, was arrested at a hotel in Lagos on his way to Dubai. The other suspect is a lady.

“Their names are withheld for now till we finish our investigation.

“We thank God that Mama was rescued alive and well,“ he said.
