According to reports reaching Okay Nigeria, an Israeli Spacecraft suffered a last minute setback after an attempt to land on the moon.
The craft suffered an engine failure as it prepared to land.
However, the spacecraft crashed onto the lunar surface.
Morris Kahn, the project originator and major backer in a live videocast, said on Thursday that “We didn’t make it, but we definitely tried.”
He added that, “The spacecraft Beresheet did not successfully complete its landing on the moon.”
