ABUJA, Nigeria — The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the results of the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) mop-up exercise conducted for eligible candidates.
Okay News reports that candidates who participated in the mop-up examination can now access their results through JAMB’s approved result-checking platforms. The release of the results marks another major step in the completion of the 2026 admission process.
According to the examination body, the next phase will involve the ranking of candidates based on their performance. JAMB stated that the printing of results for admission purposes is expected to commence before the weekend, paving the way for tertiary institutions to continue their admission processes.
The Board expressed appreciation to candidates, parents, institutions and other stakeholders for their patience and cooperation throughout the conduct of the 2026 UTME and the subsequent mop-up exercise.
JAMB’s Public Communication Advisor, Fabian Benjamin, said the Board remains committed to ensuring a smooth and transparent admission process for all qualified candidates.
