President Bola Tinubu is hosting Edo State governor-elect, Monday Okpebholo, at the Aso Rock Villa in Abuja.
Okpebholo was welcomed by Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, and several governors from the party, including Hope Uzodimma of Imo, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq of Kwara, and Adams Oshiomhole, Senator representing Edo North Senatorial District.
This meeting comes after Okpebholo’s victory in the Edo State governorship election, where he was declared the winner by the Independent National Electoral Commission.
The APC had expressed confidence in its chances of winning, citing the disarray within the Peoples Democratic Party in the state.
