King Charles III Diagnosed with Cancer, Buckingham Palace Confirms

By Muhammad A. Aliyu

Buckingham Palace made a solemn announcement on Monday, revealing that King Charles III, aged 75, has been diagnosed with cancer.

The diagnosis came to light during a recent hospital procedure for benign prostate enlargement, where a separate issue of concern was detected.

In an emailed statement, the palace stated, “During The King’s recent hospital procedure for benign prostate enlargement, a separate issue of concern was noted. Subsequent diagnostic tests have identified a form of cancer.”

However, the palace did not specify the type or stage of cancer discovered.

Addressing concerns about the specific nature of the cancer, Buckingham Palace clarified that King Charles III does not have prostate cancer.
