Edward Onoja sworn in as Kogi deputy governor

Following his confirmation by the Kogi state house of assembly, Edward Onoja has been sworn-in as the deputy governor of the state.

Okay.ng understands that the running mate of Yahaya Bello, governor of Kogi, in the November 16 gubernatorial election, was sworn in on Monday, October 21, 2019, at the state government house.

Onoja now replaces Simon Achuba, who was impeached by the state assembly on Friday, October 18, 2019.
