Lai Mohammed & Fayemi Arrives Ijebu-Ode As Buhari Visits.

All is set now at Ijebu Ode as dignitaries from every parts of the country are already in town for President Muhammed Buhari.

The President arrived in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State, on Monday evening.

The advance team led by the minister for information and culture, Alhaji Lai Muhammed and Dr. Kayode Fayemi minister of solid minerals are already in town.

Security around the Awujale palace, Etitale, Ijebu ode has been beefed up as the two gates leading to the palace have been closed up.

Thorough screening are been carried out on all those are allowed to enter the palace while lists of invitees including the press men are with the presidential team.

Among the dignitaries already at the palace include two former governors; Aremo Olusegun Osoba and his wife, Derin and Otunba Gbenga Daniel.

The three senators representing the state;Lanre Tejuoso, Gbolahan Dada and Buruj Kashamu.

Others are captains of industry like; Mike Adenuga,Otunba Subomi Balogun, Oba Otudeko,Ladi Balogun,Chief Razaq Okoya

Also in attendance are; Olorunnibe Mamora, Olugbenga Kaka,Lekan Mustapha,Pastor Tunde Bakare,Revd. Jide Awosedo.

Traditional and religious leaders are also on ground to welcome him.

Information from the governor’s camp in Lagos revealed that the President has landed at the airport and has arrived Ijebu Ode.

All markets, shops within Ijebu Ode has been closed down as advance team has moved to the Otunba Dipo Dina International Stadium,Ijebu ode,where the Presidential chopper will land enroute Awujale palace.

Security personnel from the presidency have now taken charge to beef up security in the area.

It was gathered that the President will firstly come to the palace and have a tete-a-tete with the Awujale and Paramount ruler of Ijebuland,Oba (Dr.) Sikiru Kayode Adetona.

The president will later commission some projects within Ijebu ode town.
