A survivor of the Nepal earthquake, trapped for 80 hours with three dead bodies, has been miraculously pulled from rubble alive.Rishi Khanal was saved by French rescue teams from the wreckage of a damaged building following Saturday’s earthquake in Kathmandu.

According to UK Mirror, the survivor, in his late 20s, was pulled from the ruins yesterday. He told reporters he was forced to drink his own urine as there was no food or drink to keep him alive.

He had become trapped by masonry falling his foot, and the marathon rescue effort took five hours. Rishi had been on the second floor of a seven-storey building when the quake hit four days ago, the worst to hit Nepal in 80 years
