Mavins, 2face Idibia & Psquare To Perform at AMVCAs This Sunday

Organisers of the prestigious Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards 2015 (AMVCAs) have announced a mouth-watering lineup of entertainers confirmed to thrill guests at the awards gala come tomorrow, Saturday, March 7, 2015.

According to M-Net, music superstars including Nigeria’s 2face Idibia, P-Square, Don Jazzy and the Mavin Crew, popular comedian, Basketmouth; Tanzanian star, Diamond are all confirmed to perform at the event.

To act as hosts at the glittering will be the ever vibrant IK Osakioduwa (Big Brother Africa host) and popular Zimbabwean OAP, Vimbai Mutinhiri (host of Star Gist).

In a statement, the company’s Regional Director, Wangi Mba-Uzoukwu said: “The AMVCAs were created to celebrate the contribution of African filmmakers, actors and technicians in the success of the continent’s film and television industry. The number and quality of entries for this year’s edition are a great improvement onthe previous editions and the show promises to be exciting for our viewers across the continent.”

According to the statement, Don Jazzy and the Mavin Crew will make an appearance appear courtesy of the AMVCA associate sponsors, MTN in an event expected to feature the major stars in Nigerian movie industry and beyond.

Along with music stars to take to the stage is UK-based rising Nigerian music star, Lola Rae.
