Mkhitaryan Set to Break Ronaldo’s Record, On The Verge Of Making Man Utd History

By Gbolahan Adeyemi

Henrikh Mkhitaryan can make Manchester United history on Thursday

Manchester United face La Liga side, Celta Vigo in the first leg of their semi-final clash.

Jose Mourinho’s men are aiming to win the tournament for the first time in the club’s history.

Mkhitaryan has already etched his name into the record books by scoring in four away games in a row.

And, should he find the net against Celta Vigo, he will become the first United player to net five times away from home within a single European campaign.

Should he do so, then he will outdo United legends such as Cristiano Ronaldo , Wayne Rooney and Dwight Yorke.

All three players have scored in four games away from Old Trafford in Europe over the years.

Cristiano Ronaldo scored four goals away from home for Man United in the 2007/2008 season

But Mkhitaryan will be out in front should he inspire the Red Devils to victory.

United go into the game on the back of draws against Manchester City and Swansea in the Premier League.
