President Bola Tinubu has selected Dr. Mohammed Mohammed Aminu to lead the National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) as its Registrar and Chief Executive Officer, according to an official announcement released Tuesday.

The presidential spokesperson, Bayo Onanuga, confirmed the appointment in a statement highlighting Dr. Aminu’s academic credentials. The new NABTEB head brings significant expertise to the role, holding a doctorate degree in Automobile Technology alongside a master’s degree specializing in Procurement and Supply Chain Management.

This appointment comes as part of the administration’s ongoing efforts to strengthen leadership across key educational institutions and examination bodies in Nigeria. NABTEB plays a crucial role in the country’s technical education sector, responsible for conducting technical and business examinations for students and certification of skilled professionals.

The appointment represents another significant addition to the educational leadership structure under President Tinubu’s administration, which continues to emphasize technical education as an important component of Nigeria’s workforce development strategy.
