President Muhammadu Buhari will, on Tuesday morning, address the nation in a broadcast on Tuesday.
Femi Adesina, special adviser to the president on media and publicity, disclosed this in a statement on Monday.
He said the broadcast is part of activities to commemorate Nigeria’s 59th independence anniversary celebrations.
“President Muhammadu Buhari will broadcast to the nation on Tuesday, October 1, 2019, at 7 am,” the statement read.
“Television, radio stations, and other electronic media outlets are enjoined to hook up to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority and Radio Nigeria for the broadcast.”
