Nigeria Police Force Recruitment 2023: How to Apply, Requirements, Success Tips

The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has announced the commencement of its 2023 recruitment exercise.

Interested and qualified Nigerians are invited to apply for enlistment into the force as constable (recruits).

Requirements

  • Applicants must be of Nigerian origin by birth.
  • Applicants must possess the National Identification Number (NIN).
  • Applicants must possess a minimum of four credits in not more than two sittings in one WASSCE/SSCE or its equivalent, with a credit in English and Mathematics.
  • Applicants must be between 18 and 25 years old.
  • Applicants must be medically, physically, and psychologically fit.
  • Applicants must not be less than 1.67m tall for males and 1.64m tall for females.
  • Female applicants must not be pregnant at the time of entry.
  • Applicants must have a valid email address and phone number.
  • SSCE statements of results or certificates relating to examinations taken before 2014 will not be accepted.

How to Apply

To apply, follow these steps:

  1. Visit the Nigeria Police Force Recruitment Portal at www.apply.policerecruitment.gov.ng.
  2. Enter your NIN, email address, and phone number.
  3. Fill out the online application form.
  4. Upload your O’level results, birth certificate, and certificate of origin.
  5. Print the completed online form and guarantor form.
  6. Submit the printed forms at the physical or credential screening exercise.

The date of the physical/credential screening exercise will be announced later.
