The Nigerian army on Wednesday discovered the body of its missing General Retired Major General Idris Alkali who was killed and buried in Jos, Plateau State.
Alkali was allegedly killed and buried in a shallow grave at a location tagged “No man’s land” in Lafande community of Jos.
This was revealed in a statement by the leader of the search and rescue operation, Brigadier General Umar Mohammed.
According to him, the body of General Alkali was found in Guchwet in Shen area of Jos South, Plateau State.
He noted that a parade will be held for the late retired general as an honour as well as a befitting burial.
