Nigeria’s Ambassador to Spain, Ademola Seriki, passes away at age 63

Nigeria’s ambassador to Spain, Ademola Seriki, has passed away at the age of 63 in Madrid.

This was announced in a statement released by his children.

According to the statement, Seriki died on December 15, 2022, surrounded by his family.

His children said in the statement, “It is with heavy hearts and profound gratitude to Almighty Allah that we announce the loss of our much-loved and admired patriarch, husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, His Excellency, Ambassador Demola Seriki.”

Born on November 30, 1959, Seriki was a well-respected politician, teacher, businessman, and public administrator. Prior to his role as ambassador, he served as Nigeria’s Minister of State for Defence.
