A devastating attack unfolded late Sunday night in the Zike Kimakpa community in Plateau State, resulting in the confirmed deaths of over 45 people and injuries to many others. The Secretary General of the Irigwe Development Association (IDA), Danjuma Dickson Auta, provided confirmation of the tragic event, stating that the body count has already exceeded 45 and is expected to rise. He described the attack as a highly organized and extensive act of violence against the community that claimed the lives of over 45 people.
