No Plans for Petrol Price Increase – NNPCL Reassures Nigerians

By Muhammad A. Aliyu

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has categorically denied any plans to increase the pump price of petroleum.

This statement comes in response to widespread speculations about the company’s alleged intention to raise the petrol pump price from the current N617 per litre to over N700.

In an official statement posted on its X platform on Friday, the NNPCL addressed these speculations and assured the public that it has no intention of increasing the pump prices for petroleum products.

The statement read, “Dear esteemed customers, we at NNPC Retail value your patronage, and we do not have the intention to increase our PMS pump prices as widely speculated. Please buy the best quality products at the most affordable prices at our NNPC Retail Stations nationwide.”

This statement seeks to quell any concerns and rumors circulating in the public domain regarding potential fuel price hikes.

The NNPCL emphasizes its commitment to providing quality petroleum products at affordable prices to its customers across Nigeria.
