One Year Too Early for Protest, Give Us More Time to Deliver – Tinubu’s Daughter

By Adamu Abubakar Isa

Folashade Tinubu, daughter of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has appealed to Lagos residents to reject the planned hunger protest scheduled for August 1. Speaking to a group of marketers, she emphasized that a government that has not spent three years in office should not be criticized.

Tinubu warned parents to caution their children against participating in the protest, citing the losses suffered by victims of the EndSARS protest four years ago. She commended the Lagos State government for its performance and urged residents to support the administration.

“No protest in Lagos, please. It’s not good. Recall the previous one where they destroyed our public assets. Don’t let your children be used by people who give them money to fight and destroy things,” she said.

Tinubu’s statement comes as security measures are being tightened across the country ahead of the planned nationwide protests.
