Oyo Varsity Expels Students Involved in Jungle Justice Over Alleged Phone Theft

Ajayi Crowther University has expelled students involved in a jungle justice incident that resulted in the death of a student accused of stealing a mobile phone.

The university clarified that the incident was not related to cult activity, but rather a case of mob justice. All students involved have been arrested and handed over to the police.

The university emphasized its zero-tolerance policy for anti-societal vices and misconduct, stating that the expelled students were not part of any cult group. The police have confirmed receiving the suspects and commenced investigation into the matter.
