PHOTOS: President Buhari Meets with Dapchi Schoolgirls In Aso Rock Villa

President, Muhammadu Buhari, has received the 104 female students of Government Girls Science Technical College, Dapchi, Yobe, northern Nigeria who were abducted by Boko-Haram insurgents.

The released abducted girls have now visited Aso Rock, Nigeria’s Presidential villa in Abuja, the nation’s capital where they were received by President Buhari.

The released Dapchi girls arrived the State House press gallery at exactly 11:40 am (Nigerian time). President Buhari arrived the Council Chamber few minutes past 12 pm and thereafter, the meeting with the girls commenced.

Some of top government officials, the nation’s security chiefs and parents of the Dapchi girls are also attending the meeting holding inside the Press Gallery of the Presidential Villa’s Council Chambers.

The President also promised to bring back the remaining abducted Chibok girls during the meeting wh the Dapchi girls and their parents.

“While parents of the Dapchi girls rejoice because of the reunion with their children, I want to appeal to the Chibok Community never to lose hope or to despair. We are determined as never before, to bring back our remaining Chibok daughters”, President Buhari said.
