Pilots Escape Unharmed After NAF Trainer Aircraft Crash Lands in Kaduna

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has reported a minor accident involving its Super Mushshak trainer aircraft in Kaduna.

According to Edward Gabkwet, the spokesperson for NAF, the incident took place around 2:35 p.m. on Thursday.

While details regarding the cause of the mishap were not immediately disclosed, Gabkwet stated that the accident occurred approximately 3.5 nautical miles from the Kaduna military airfield.

Fortunately, both pilots aboard the aircraft, who were returning from a routine training flight, managed to escape the crash unharmed.

In response to the incident, Hasan Abubakar, the Chief of Air Staff, has directed an immediate investigation to determine the circumstances leading to the crash.
