PHOTOS: Nnamdi Kanu’s Mother Leads Pro-Biafra Protest In Umuahia

Biafra protest led by Kanu's mother

Ugoeze Nnenne Kanu, Mother of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and director of Radio Biafra on Monday, November 16, 2015 joined the large crowd of protesters that grounded activities in Umuahia, the capital of Abia State, which happens to be Kanu’s hometown.

Also joining the protest, was Kanu’s sister, Princess Chichi Kanu, which started at about 5:30 am at Ubakala. The protesters carried the Biafran flag and sang solidarity songs, marching through Isi Court, in Umuahia South, Old Umuahia Road, Aba Road, Umuwaya Road, Isi Gate, Bende Road, Enugu Road and Ama Hausa.

The protests is the latest of a series of protests that have been recorded in the South Eastern part of the country and parts of the Delta and Rivers State.
