Sacked Kano commissioner recovers from COVID-19

The sacked Kano state Commissioner of Works and Infrastructural developments, Muazu Magaji has been discharged after recovering from COVID-19.

Okay.ng recalls that Magaji was relieved of his position by Governor Abdullahi Ganduje for celebrating the death of the former chief of staff, late Abba Kyari, had tested positive for coronavirus on May 7.

The former commissioner via his Facebook page on Friday announced that he has been confirmed negative and discharge from the state Isolation centre.

He wrote: “To the Glory of Allah SWT, today Friday 22nd May and 29th Ramadan I have been confirmed COVID-19 negative and discharged from Isolation centre.”
