Sanwo-Olu reviews curfew in Lagos

By Saddam Yusuf Saleh

Lagos Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has reviewed the curfew in the state from 8 pm to 6 am.

The Governor had imposed a curfew on the state last Tuesday in the wake of the #ENDSARS protests.

It was reviewed from 8 am-6 pm at the weekend to enable residents to restock.

But according to a statement by Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr. Gbenga Omotoso, the duration of the curfew is now 8 pm to 6 am.

He said restrictions would only be enforced outside the time frame.

Omotoso explained Lagosians are permitted to enjoy free movement from 6am to 8pm.

“Lagosians are enjoined to plan their journey times as they go about their lawful businesses,” he stressed.
