Senate Approves N98.5bn Supplementary Budget for FCT

The Senate has passed the N98.5 billion 2024 supplementary budget for the Federal Capital Territory Administration, aimed at addressing critical infrastructure needs in the nation’s capital.

The bill, presented by President Bola Tinubu, was earlier passed by the House of Representatives.

The Senate’s approval follows the consideration and adoption of a report by the Committee on FCT, chaired by Sen. Mohammed Ibrahim.

Okay.ng understanda that the supplementary budget aims to fund essential projects not captured in the 2024 budget.
